What really made the difference was how my teacher explained grammar through real cultural examples. Classes were leisurely, warm and full of discussion. I learnt hiragana, katakana, basic kanji, and common Japanese conversation patterns. The school treated us to cultural immersion sessions of learning polite speech and Japanese etiquette. This class gave me a lot of confidence to have basic conversation-level exchanges with Japanese co-workers.

2. I found exactly what I was looking for in Kazumi’s Migrate to Japan program. The trainers here were helpful and taught me the basics of JLPT, office etiquette, visa-related conversation and daily Japanese to survive. Within months, I was ready emotionally, not just linguistically. Because of the well-organised training here, I passed my language requirement as well and got a job interview call from a Tokyo company. This course really shifted the trajectory of my life.

3. Therefore, I joined Kazumi’s Japanese for Work program. I was impressed with its industry-specific training. My teacher taught me formal ways to write emails, how to act at meetings, specialised company terms and keigo for business. We rehearsed pseudo-presentations and dialogue of negotiation. I stopped relying on a translator for the first time after the course. I can now talk directly with our Japanese partners. Everything changed with the “Migrate to Japan” program of Kazumi Japanese & Culture School. The counsellors helped me work through visa types, job lines and JLPT qualifications. These were the years when we had teachers who really had lived and worked in Japan. They taught us workplace etiquette, interview manners and the cultural mores that do matter. I also built my language base by attending their N5 and N4 parallel sessions. Now I am linguistically and job-wise ready to chase a life in Japan. Taking this course was the game-changer in my migration adventure.

19. The “Japanese for Work” program at Kazumi was exactly what I had been looking for. Our instructor had mock meetings, wrote sample emails to get feedback, answered phone calls and role-played from the corporate world! I learnt keigo, business etiquette and formal ways to respond. Within two months, I was confident of having joint calls.

20. At Kazumi School, the Japanese Management Course taught me about Kaizen, 5S, leadership philosophy and decision-making models – in the Japanese way. Our trainer had more than 10 years of experience in Osaka and taught us the fundamental practices that can be used for Indian industry. I brought 5S to my workshop, and the productivity went up in weeks. This class was not only about management, but it changed the way I manage my team.” A deeply enriching experience.

21. My trainer didn’t want us to fear speaking, so she did games and flashcards and little skit dramas we could play out. Hiragana felt like magic, as if I was unlocking a whole new world. I can now understand quite a lot of anime without any subtitles. The course brought me a new hobby and a new gang of friends. Within a few weeks, I was able to introduce myself and read simple hiragana without looking too nervous. The structured study plan offered by the school and speaking practice circles helped me overcome my fear of saying a word wrong.
